Each item is preceded by its item number.  Please order by item number, or include it when asking questions.

ABOUT ITEM DESCRIPTIONS

I first started writing watch parts lists in 1981.  I try to be critical in my evaluations so as to avoid disappointments or the bother of returns.  I try to follow this format:

Item number
Manufacturer
Size - standard sizes use 'S' for size, millimeter(mm) measurements are the diameter of the main center body of the case
Jewels - if unmarked I will state the minimum with a + if I think there might be more
OF or HC - open face or hunting
LS or PS - lever set or pendant set
SS or DS - single sunk or double sunk
Dial condition - nothing said, dial is good porcelain.  HL, has a hairline or two, not too bad.  Several HL, its a bit worse.  Bad dial, speaks for itself.  A chip is just that, a flake is a little piece off the edge such that no copper shows.
Serial number
General description - will mostly be a listing of damage and missing pieces, I try my best not to miss anything, will be more complete and critical on an expensive piece than on a lower priced item.  If the balance staff is broken or there is some other major problem I usually won't check the mainspring.  If I say the balance staff is broken, it could be that a jewel is broken and the balance is OK– I don’t take them apart to check.  Running means running with pretty good motion to the balance, but please assume you will need to clean.

WA274 - Alliance Watch Co Swiss large 64.2mm outer case diameter 11J+? OF pin set, small chip & HL at edge of dial mostly covered by bezel, runs, winding skips as more tension comes from the mainspring as it is wound up, good nickel case is marked 'Railway Regulator" on back, glass crystal has small chips at edge   $125 PHOTOS

WC134 - Columbus 6S 11J+? HC LS fancy dial has a number of HL #304870 good balance, runs if you hold pressure on mainspring, dirty, good scalloped edge case looks like 15 year quality YGF, has glass crystal   $80 PHOTOS

WD107 - Doxa 44.2mm 17J OF PS fair metal dial, marked 'AOL' on balance bridge, will run but has broken balance or jewel, good steel case, good plastic crystal   $30 PHOTOS

WE810 - Elgin timer 16S 7J OF numerous HL #41040055 runs but mechanism to operate start stop/ flyback is not working, good nickel case has plastic crystal   $30 PHOTOS

WE194 - Elgin 6S 7J OF PS reproduction plastic black dial has some of the white numbering missing #16648249 runs if you put pressure on the center wheel but mainspring is broken, plated base metal case has wear, no crystal   $30 PHOTOS

WE443 - Elgin 0S 17J OF PS fancy dial is dirty but should clean up, no damage #17137147 balance looks OK, doesn't run, overbanked, high grade movement has raised gold jewel settings & gold center wheel, 46.8mm outer diameter good condition case is signed 'Monitor', looks like 10 year quality YGF, no crystal   $85 PHOTOS

WE299 - Elgin 0S 7J OF PS fancy dial has a couple of chips at edge mostly hidden by bezel  #6223274 runs, 25 year Keystone Watch Case Co case in better than average condition with no brass, plain case has small bruises & bruises on back, original case paper with matching case number, glass crystal   $75 PHOTOS  

WE202 - Elgin 0S 7J HC PS several HL #13663086 balance may be OK, overbanked, case is marked with a 20 year guarantee but looks like 10 year quality to me and is in average condition with brass on neck, no crystal   $35 PHOTOS

WE325 - English Watch Co. standard 16S 7J OF PS with detent stem #53071 broken balance staff, good case is marked "EWCo" with English sterling hallmarks and has just small dings, plastic crystal   $50 PHOTOS

WI664 - Ingersol backwind 51mm outer case diameter, pat.Dec.23, 1890, runs, case is in good condition with good glass crystal    $60 PHOTOS

WL152 - Longines 53.4mm outer case diameter 9J+? OF pin set bad dial, balance looks OK but hairspring appears to be disconnected, broken mainspring, good Longines signed nickel case needs crystal   $45 PHOTOS

WL363 - Longines 51.6mm outer case diameter 11J+? OF pin setting, runs, good condition case looks like silver with nickel dust lid, has glass crystal   $85 PHOTOS

WL897 - Longines 51.4mm outer case diameter 11J+? OF pin setting, broken balance staff, case looks like silver & is in good condition except back hinge is torn off, needs stem & crystal   $30 PHOTOS

WN699 - New York Standard 6S case outer diameter 47mm 7J HC PS HL #4852793 good balance, runs if you hold pressure on mainspring, dirty, YGF case is signed 'Reliable, Guaranteed 20 years', looks like 10 year quality to me, no crystal   $35 PHOTOS

WO738 - Omega 48mm outer case diameter, 38.1mm diameter of movement pillar plate 11J+? HC movement in OF case, poor dial, balance looks OK but very dirty, gun metal case in fair condition, bezel won't quite snap shut, probably not the right case, no crystal   $30 PHOTOS

WS787 - Swiss 52.7mm 11J+? HC KW KS runs, signed on dust lid "patent lever, Liverpool" good condition case looks like nickel except for the large engine turned panels on the covers which look like silver, I can see the liftspring but the front cover does not spring open, glass crystal   $60 PHOTOS

WS399 - Swiss 44.7mm 6J+? OF KW KS silver dial with applied multicolor decoration, ticks a little & runs if you put pressure on center wheel but the mainspring is broken, cylinder escapement, signed on piller plate "JMER Rosse, Geneve" case looks like silver, has moderate wear, hinge on rear cover is somewhat bent from being forced open too far but still closes OK and springs up when the button is pressed, has glass bulls eye type crystal   $75 PHOTOS

WS393 - Swiss unsigned 40.5mm OF KW KS faint HL, ticks a little but mainspring is broken, silver case with light wear needs crystal   $40 PHOTOS

WS845 - Swiss 36.5mm outer case diameter 4J OF KW KS HL dial has gray & red rings #36270 balance looks OK, doesn't run, broken mainspring, dirty, good condition nicely engraved case has good glass crystal   $30 PHOTOS

WT834 - M.I.Tobias & Co. Liverpool(Swiss) 50.6mm outer case diameter 4J OF KW KS engraved silver dial #73283 balance looks OK but no hairspring, hour wheel is missing from under dial & maybe minute wheel as well, case looks like silver with brass dust lid, has very nice engraving of ship on back, no crystal   $50 PHOTOS

WU432 - US Watch Co. Waltham about 16S 7J OF PS HL #8416 broken balance staff, hard to find early dome model, good condition coin silver case has slight bruises, is very tarnished, has glass crystal   $135 PHOTOS

WW598 - Waltham 14S 9J+? HC KW KS faint HL #789851 balance looks OK & ticks a little but is very gummy, "Crescent Garden", Waltham signed coin silver case looks original, has very little wear but front middle hinge is torn and it is missing the bezel & crystal, has a dent on the back cover   $95 PHOTOS

WW813 - Waltham 14S 7J OF PS #6837997 broken balance staff, Bond St., coin silver SBB case is dented on back cover & center body is dented so threads are no longer even and threading back cover on can be a challenge but it will go on in the end, glass crystal has scratches   $35 PHOTOS

WW653 - Waltham 6S 7J HC PS HL #13646223 balance looks OK, doesn't wind, sets OK, very nice Philadelphia 20 year YGF case needs crystal   $65 PHOTOS
